Welcome to the Abilene Radio Control Society!


   Located in Abilene, Texas where the wind blows strong and straight down the runway. (Sometimes) We have a great location with easy access and some of the best facilities in west Texas. We have a 400' concrete runway, covered pits, setup tables for helicopters, and a generous paved parking lot. Our club supports a variety of RC interests with our members having a wide range of skills and abilities. Many of our members are long time flyers and will give help and advice just for the asking.

Club meetings are held at Ben E. Keith Company, 2141 Cottonwood St, on the first thursday of each month, starting at 7:00 pm.

Field Rules
ARCS members will be flying at the Dyess Big Country Airfest on May 3rd 2008. Please contact Joe Buie if you can participate. We need models for static display as well as pilots to help fill our time slot.
